HIPSHOTPrivacy Policy
Effective October 28, 2026
Hipshot is made by Hivemind Labs, Inc. The app does not collect or transmit your photos, camera feed, identifiers, or usage data to us. There are no advertising or analytics SDKs in the app, and no account is required.
Your camera and photos
Hipshot uses camera access to show a live viewfinder and take photos. It uses Photos access to save your captures and display your most recent photo. Your photos stay in your device’s photo library. If you use iCloud Photos or another backup service, those services handle syncing under their own settings and policies.
Settings and motion
Camera preferences are stored on your device. Motion and fold information are used on your device to adapt the layout and display the level. They are not sent to us.
Permissions
You can change camera and Photos permissions in iOS Settings. Removing camera access prevents live capture. Removing permission to add photos prevents Hipshot from saving captures to your library.
Support
If you email us, we receive the email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to answer your request. Please avoid sending photos or other personal information that are not needed to explain the issue.
Keeping and deleting information
You control the photos in your library and can delete them in Photos. Deleting Hipshot removes its locally stored preferences; it does not delete photos you have saved. If you have contacted support and want us to delete your correspondence, email support@ferrara.co with that request.
Changes and contact
We will update this page if Hipshot’s privacy practices change. For privacy questions, email support@ferrara.co.
